If you are looking for that knife that is sharp, compact, cheap and reliable this is what you want.  The Outdoor Fixed Blade Knife with Fire Starter not only is a simple knife with flat nylon case it comes with a highly reliable fire starter.

Measuring a total of 7" this single piece blade and handle with cord-wrapping for comfort has a total weight of 10.6 ounces. The steel used in this knife is of very good quality and holds a very sharp edge through regular use and is very straight forward to sharpen when you want to keep the razor like edge. The magnesium-allot fire starter is easily packaged within the custom nylcon case and testing has shown the fire starter is easily used with a high level of accuracy within a few minutes of use.

If you are planning for this knife to be used regularly for prolonged periods of use we recommend that the cord grip be removed and replaced with a high quality cord such as a 550 cord which brings a better quality feel and allows your palm to breath when you are using for more than a couple minutes. And if you are planning to buy and store in your car, boat, tool box or survival bag this is ready to store straight from the box with no modifications required.

Wares HK-1023DP Fixed Blade Tactical Knife Review

The Wares HK-1023DP Fixed Blade knife is a classic design and look we have all come to know. But beware this is a small knife with a total length of 7.5" and a total weight of 1 pount.

It is made with stainless steel serrated blade and rubber coated handle with creates an effective and comfortable grip for prolonged use and comes with a sheath for simple and easy storage and access.

Due to the small size of the knife it is ideal for some one with very small hands, like a teenager and while the blade comes functional it is not razor sharp, so it is also very suitable for someone's first knife, but can be sharpened when the user wants or is ready for a razor edge on their knife. Alternatively this is an good knife to keep in the bottom of your bag or glove box of the car if you want a knife close by, but dont want the weight and size of other fixed blade knifes.
